I just started reading this today and I'm hooked!

My heart is broken for Cindy the Chimp, this book overall is just very heartbreaking, but Cindy being alone thinking she did something wrong has me teary-eyed. I hope there's some sort of happy ending in this book, and I'm glad my professor assigned this reading to us, just sad to see so much grief :(

wow this book is amazing so far, every chapter has me on the edge of my seat, this book is beyond creepy, loving it :)

First time reading a work by Kafka (had to for class) and well now I'm depressed lol. I've heard Kafka is known for writing depressing pieces so not too surprised that this is the outcome of this story, it was well-done despite it being a tragic tale.

Have to read this for a class but honestly it Is very interesting. Super creepy beginning, and where I'm at now is very strange/disturbing. My professor warned us about an unsatisfying ending so hoping that doesn't change my experience with this book, bc so far I really like it.

This book is amazing, I've read most of it while on vacation and I truly have been addicted to it. Can't wait to finish it, I've already bought the second book so I can start right after I finish this one :)

I'm really enjoying this book; it's really weird and well-written. I kinda knew what the first plot twist was gonna be or maybe the author intended for us to know before it's revealed, so hopefully there are other twists and turns I won't be expecting. Hoping it gets darker, it's been creepy so far. Harrison does a great job at creating anticipation of what happens next.

Liking it so far, really loving Misery as the main character!

A slow start but still interesting. The book implies there only can be one 'prettiest girl in the grave' and considering Bella is the MC she will be it but so far I'm liking Rose more just because she has way more common sense and skepticism when it comes to the situation they're in. Her character is more developed than the MC. Hoping both girls make it out alive, but it seems unlikely to me.

I love Holly Black's work, but I will say one issue I have is she will give weird ass traits especially where it's like the love interest has a tail, this one is in the feet is all I'll say. I get the fae are magical and would look strange, but making them have animal-like traits is just weird to me. (I still love you Holly Black but I had to get this off my chest)

Guys this book is insane! Not for the faint of heart that's for sure lol. I don't want to spoil anything all I'll say is someone shits themself to death. Horror and comedy go hand and hand especially on disturbing/sensitive topics. Lee is doing a great job so far, especially since I'm very harsh towards male writers so that's saying something :)
