My eighth attempt to finish and I might take it really slow. Might be the year I read books for months!!!

Big year (for me) for books that mention The Deer Hunter

It’s ok that I spent all year re reading the first four books only to still have no idea what’s happening, right?

Love when a book that comes out of nowhere and blows me away!

I’m on week four of the Artist’s Way and not supposed to be reading but this has been my most highly anticipated release of the year and I was thrilled to find it in Utrecht this weekend ahead of the US release date and anyway it’s really good!

Sort of reluctantly rereading these but let me tell you this is a really great comfort read for watching fascism take over the country you’re homesick for!! Really hitting the spot.

Naomi Klein is the smartest person living.

It’s amazing how all of my issues with Brandon Sanderson’s writing disappear during his interludes. Almost like… he could say… less.

Somewhat reluctantly rereading this series after realizing I remember almost nothing from when I first *listened a couple of years ago. Going to take breaks in between parts so that I can still get through the rest of my list. Also taking recommendations for an author with a huge backlog so that Brando Sando isn’t my number one read author 2 years in a row.

In what is becoming a trend for me, I left my kindle in Minneapolis which means that I will not be finishing this book before the end of the year. With that being said, there’s a good chance it ends up on my favorite reads list of 2025

Accidentally relistening to this audiobook because it’s just so damn good! Michael C. Hall does such an incredible job that this might become one of my Halloween traditions right up there with Shirley.

I’m not saying I don’t like this book but reading it at the same time as Wind-Up bird was a MISTAKE! I’m overwhelmed by the male gaze lol

I don’t say this lightly but this book was breathtaking before I tragically lost it to the library gods (my loan ended) and I don’t have time to pick up another copy so I guess I have to read the next Broken Earth book until it’s available again 😈

This book is amazing and exhaustive and I’m needing a break. Going to listen to something else and finish this at the end of the month!

I have to say, this book was just not what I expected it to be and I was pretty disappointed for the whole first half! With that being said I love it the more I settle!
