Learning to implement a new system even as I’m reading this book. Main goal is to increase reading speed so I’ll have to be more intentional about when and for how long I pause annotate. And also for what type of content.

“It is one thing to say I’m the type of person who wants this. It’s something very different to say I’m the type of person who is this.”

So far so good! I’m enjoying learning about the idea of habits being the compound interest of self improvement and how time is the multiplier of success and failure. ✨💡🤓✨

I really enjoy reading this book- it’s so inspiring and makes you change constantly change perspectives based on the lives alone. So many takeaways here 😌

I’m liking the quantum physics part of this! Also the inclusion of others experiencing similar events is really cool - an analogy for real life.

It’s crazy how just something s as simple as changing your external environment can’t have such an impact on your mental health and outlook on life. Choices are what lead to habits which lead to shaping your direction in life.

Started back up yesterday after about a spontaneous 2 month break from reading.

📖 Yesterday’s reading: Pgs. 65-90

This book is very pensive and thought-provoking. I’m really enjoying the various glimpses into Nora’s quantum lives and seeing her learn from each.

It’s been a while since I’ve read, but there are definitely some cute moments here. Very “teenager-y” 🤗

Very interesting concept - that’s obviously what drew me to the book; however I didn’t realize each life would represent a version of the main character’s. I thought they were just the lives of others. Definitely even more interested now!

Not sure if I like these turn of events.. almost like there’s a deus ex machina..seems to, in a way, parallel real life a little too much but we’ll see how everything unfolds

I don’t know how Riley does it. I couldn’t. Too tough for me to put aside or behind us.

This book really hits home and is having me rethink my own interracial friendships.

There are a lot of things that I may try to address but when met with a closed mind or defensive heir I shut down and sweep everything back under the rug. This is important lesson for many. From all sides of friendship.

Not too big of just how much the characters pick on each other (mainly the female protagonist) but it looks as if this may now be coming to an end - or at least being swapped into somewhat flirtatious banter. So I’m still here going strong!

To posses the gift of empathy is a powerful tool.

These authors do a really good job of finding the nuances in interracial friendships, especially those between white and black American women. The subtle racism is (unfortunately) so realistic.

Woo! Ya know I do have to say that a lot of this is unfortunately not unexpected 😕

Writing is almost cinematic. Tensions are palpable and perspectives are well-captured (at least from my perspective as a Black American woman). Very good read so far 🙌🏾

These chapters are kind of long. Not bad but I’m really getting the sense that it affects my reading experience. For example, if I have a goal of reading a chapter in one sitting then I don’t know how long it’ll take me to get through as compared to shorter chapters. Or if I’m reading for time, and my time ends in the middle of a chapter it’s hard not to continue. I also feel like Jen holds back a lot

Just started and I have to say the writing is incredibly visceral. The perspectives we’ve been brought into this far are very much real and grounded in humanity.

I like it!!! Thought I knew what was going on until I didn’t. Love the writing style - author makes it easy to adapt to screen by making everything so visually descriptive

Don’t see how I missed this one! Put 2 and 2 together 🤦🏾‍♀️😲🤯🙊

I would love to see this in film or a limited tv series! So good 🤯

Meh. Idk why this book doesn’t give Declan’s perspective, especially seeing that he’s one of the main characters in the title series. I’m not a fan the writing, so it’s going to be an interesting read.

Interesting that those 7 days left such an impact on their lives to the extent of them confessing their love for each other all these years later after 2-3 recent “hangouts”.
