Can't say much about the story so far, but I have to agree: this definitely reads more as YA than adult.
I do understand the MCs struggles about feeling as if her life was on hold, not exactly knowing what she wants for her future, because that was me. Unhappy In her job, not knowing what else to do. Scared of the future.
But her voice doesn't feel like a 27yo. Would have been more believable if she was like ~22
