It’s a good introduction to urban planning concepts and history for a broad audience. Overall strong arguments and a somewhat enjoyable read. However the writing style dates it. Written in the 2010s, it feels like a Ted Talk, presenting a handful of studies (that are accurate) as earth shattering revelation for how to do something radically different. Not a lot of nuance. Repetitive arguments.
