This is one of those books that are just three star books. The writing - boring. The plot - boring. The characters - boring. Do I keep going or dnf is the real question

Tracking for my own thoughts: I feel like RS is *trying* to scare readers. obviously that’s the goal of thrillers but it is generally less obvious. it feels like he is trying TOO hard and I’m bored and laughing at cliche and overused statements like “Billy is back” 🤭
