I have to say that the first part of this book reads as though someone took a bird’s eye picture of many events from my own childhood and transcribed them into book form. The first chapter and the exploration of gender at a young age very much mirrors my experiences when I was little. It’s always fun to get a glimpse of a related or similar trans experience

I have been enjoying this so far! I have just been terrible at reading lately

It’s reading as though the author hasn’t talked to someone around the age of the characters in a minute because the dialogue is very robotic and unrealistic. It’s not a terrible start but a rougher one than I’d like but is good background noise (listening to the audiobook) for doing work.
