I like the way this is written and the descriptions of the nyc nightlife scene. He’s self aware enough to mention gentrification but also out of touch enough to keep his nepo baby life intriguing.

Wish we could pause on any of the characters or people in his life to learn about them? Or reflect on the obvious substance abuse? Like stop jump scaring me with heroin or opium my dude.

The tone of this book is a roller coaster. Spent a whole chapter powerfully reading the victims names since 1913. Then the first line in the next chapter makes the joke “Welcome to morgue. You kill em we chill em!” Like 😭😭😭

AHHHHHH so much plot is happening!! Gnawing at the bars of my enclosure (my job) to go home and finish the last 50 pages
