Cal is one of the best written characters ever

Im really enjoying this rn, i wish i could read more but im just very indecisive about one particular character(cathy) i really wanna see more of her side because john Steinbeck is now focusing on Cal and im sure he’s going to maybe test his instincts and i really want to see that he made cathy also have a choice and not just frame her as this monster that only does evil with no motive at all
