So far, it is not even close to as good as Song of Achilles. I like the writing style but I just don’t like the main character or plot half as much. Also I feel like it’s so hard to ever measure up to SOA? I will probs finish tn

Okay, just wanted to add an update bc what??
This is so much worse than the first book. Angels and Demons is so much better and genuinely covers factual evidence with a little hint of mystery, skepticism, and conspiracy. This second book wholly disregards Jesus Christ and discusses relations to paganism, etc. Brown worships Da Vinci as god. Disappointed. Thinking of DNFing, but at 85%? Why is this book so popular?

I’ve barely started and I already hate it so much 😫 why is the entire book focused on the main characters text messages?!

Oh I like this one a lot. I wish I could’ve read this on the trains to Rome 😭
