It took me a bit to get into the story, but it helps that it is set in Denver and I live in Colorado. Although referring to Idaho Springs as “The Springs” throws me for a loop every…. single…. time. Most people I know are referring to Colorado Springs when they say The Springs.

I'm not a big fan of series that start out knowing they are going to be a trilogy or whatever. Why not just write a bigger book?

Interesting enough to finish, inconsistent enough to put down.

Not feeling so alone. Wondering if I glossed over the last 17 years or if I just didn't have it quite as bad... At least for the first 13 years...
