I need a full dissertation on Trafico as a character, I’ll write it myself if needed

ENOUGH con esteban trueba, i can’t STAND him

no one talk to me please ay dios mio

and may every misfortune befall Esteban Trueba :)

los capítulos de Esteban son una forma de tortura, que hombre más insoportable

lesbians?

primera vez que me leo un capitulo entero en una sentada and omfg SO much happened. Really loving everything with Clara, interested in the subtext in Ferula, still hate Esteban.

los HOMBRES (derogatory and in fear)

10 dólares al primero que mate a esteban, i can’t STAND this man

felt bad for esteban for a bit, but man fuck esteban

genuinely think this woman is a magician, the things she does with words are beyond anything. I’ve come close to crying like 3 times??

me and the RAE are going to get through this book, because I love Isabella Allende and I love learning new words in my first language :)

really enjoy all the stories from people they meet and the historical context added, especially in the japan chapter.

he uses so many words I genuinely don’t know, and it’s so nice how randomly ornate he can be with his words. Keeping a little dictionary on the margins. Also this books is printed SO nicely, my copy (with the white/red cover and the black and white pic) is lovely and has great big margins.

this book is legit so funny, like laugh out loud funny

seriously such a hypnotic writer

still loving it, although I feel like some of the timelines are written weirdly. They match up, it just feels like someone along the editing process forgot to link together chapters that were written probably weeks apart

I want to EAT

already sad i’m gonna finish this
