If I was a time traveler and I had the opportunity to visit the American Southwest in the year of our Lord 1850, I would say, "No thanks."
Anyway great book so far. McCarthy's writing style is untouchable, challenging and haunting, frustrating at times due to the man's stubborn refusal to use quotation marks, but I'm hooked.
