i’m starting to feel like this book might hurt me

guys am I going to DNF my first book of the year…?

This world is so unique and cool, I’m not sure how this book hasn’t gotten bigger. Also, something about the cast of characters reminds me of Six of Crows, so I’m loving that

this is consuming me

I’m obsessed with this book, I hope it never ends

I know where this is going, and I don’t like it… not that i’ve loved where it’s been so far either. holding out for now

I could write a thesis on President Snow’s interactions with Katniss. The intimacy they have is so palpable even though they hate each other; they fear each other. And now knowing Snow’s past with Lucy Gray, I can’t imagine the turmoil of emotions rolling through that disgusting man. He’s still the worst (obviously!), but there is just something that draws my eye to his character so uniquely.

oh just brushing up on the family history I suppose

this year’s physical Christmas read that I start too late and will finish after Christmas is Jenny Bayliss just like last year bc it’s just SO COZY!

I listened to almost 3/4s of this book today and I just adore it

this book is tension tension tension so far, and I am so hopeful that the payoff will be extraordinary from it
