I'm listening to the audiobook this time cuz I was getting so confused reading Iron Flame last year

I love Wes Bennett, and I fear he has made my standards even more impossible.

Side note, I'm listening to the audio book, and I love who they got for Wes, but I hate when the girl doing Liz tries to do a guy's voice, it sucks

The fact that this man keeps getting described as having a full on beer belly and I'm supposed to find it hot

Why does this man’s best friend have a girls name and his wife a guys name. Like not that I’m judging having names of different genders, but both of them?

Idk why, but whenever I’m going through a mental crisis, normally during a break from school, I always end up binge reading a Devney series. The way her stories calm me down enough to sleep at night is crazy.

I am eating this book up. I swear the way this book is narrated is amazing. All audiobooks need to be like this. Also the guy that does Rowan's voice...ugh I love it. The accent, the way it makes all of his thoughts just that much better.

Also the romance is cute? You wouldn't think so with the type of book it is. You would think it was a dark romance, but only the topic is dark, the romance is sweet.

I saw a recommendation to listen to the audiobook, and since I have no time to read this semester this is perfect.

You can tell she wrote this during a bad political time for women's rights in America. Like ACOWAR reflected Trump's presidency and this the abortion band. Go Sarah

I'm starting to slow down now that I have a lot of schoolwork, but I'll probably be done by Monday. My review for this book will be long, I might have to break it into parts.

I did not plan on getting this far in one day. It's the first week of my last semester and I got so much work to do, but this book has me hooked. I forgot how good SJM's writing is.

I’m giving up. I just can’t stand this age gap. I’m just going to move on. I’ll just move on.

I'm definitely liking this one the most. The progression of the romance is kinda slow, but in a good way. Definitely not rushing through things. I'm also liking the whole we should hate each other/enemies but totally into each other thing. Enemies to lovers really work for this series and dark romance in general.

I really do not like Cole at all. He's literally the worst out of all the boys. The way he treated Sliver since they were kids is so gross to me. I would not be with him if I was her. I like Aiden more than him, and that's saying something.

I really hate this couple now. This type of romance is really not my thing. This is why I've never been able to read Haunting Adeline. Idk how people could like this. They really don't need three books, I think two would have been enough.

I really do get why people have read all of her books. She keeps the mystery so good you can't stop reading it. Then the hints and references to the other characters future relationships are so good. I love a book series that gives you a little bit of the next couple so you have to read their book.
