Second run with the audiobooks!

I am a pretty well read Brandon Sanderson fan and usually love his work, but the first short story in this collection was altogether too violent and filled with infidelity and callousness about the worth and taking of human life. It didn’t sit well with me and I’d rather spend my limited reading time elsewhere. Hoping for more wholesome work from Brandon Sanderson to enjoy in the future.

DNF. The writing style is quippy and fun, but I just can’t do comedic murder. To me, murder is heavy and making it funny makes light of the taking of human life, and that grates on my soul.
