Listening on Audible (the only way I read) and about halfway through, and while I like the story so far I am NOT a fan of the reader, Mary Louise Parker. She sounds bored.

Some books are study books.. this is one. So progress is not in pages but study....

I am not reading it but listening to it; Obama is reading it herself. I am astounded so far at how well-written it is -- she details items but never boring, and her book is giving me an insight into not only Obama herself, but to black issues, Chicago politics, politics, her husband. Totally recommend.

The only way I can find time to read is to listen while working with the exception of a few bedside books.

Slow reading because unlike most authors who I want to rush through, I love her words. Hopeful reading in a time of cultural disasters...
Leaving the book to read also, but bought it to listen to in the finish studio. I want to hear the whole book and then slowly read it as well. She is an amazing writer.

Another one that I am almost finished with... but I drop into it. I've always like getting lost and wandering, and not knowing where I will end up, and this books explores it from many sides, including the dark, shadow and the creative. I think Solnit will become one of my favorite authors.
I keep going BACK and rereading parts of hers.... The section on blue is amazing.

The thing is, Trippett's book invites your to bounce around. I am reading it like a bunch of articles. Yes, it is by the toilet... Some of our best material lives there!
