I was going to question why she’s suddenly allowed to keep the key to the tower she’s apparently being locked up in but then I remembered absolutely nobody is reading this book for the clever plot.

This is a lot so far, may take me a while to get through it.

Thought we were safe but I’ve just read “toes curled”, “stuck my tongue out” and “could have sworn” all on one page.

2 hours into the readathon. Struggled to focus on this at first but getting into it now.

Modern fantasy confuses me because why is this girl wearing leggings and an oversized sweater like y/n.

And why did I need to know about fae menstrual cycles. So many questions already.

This really isn’t light reading, it’s hard to get through, especially as a woman, but it’s incredible writing.

Haven’t felt so nervous to keep reading a book in my life

How awfully convenient!! And also awfully convenient that the Suriel, an apparently fearsome predator, is also bending over backwards to meet the plot armour requirements for you, Feyre. 🙄

I’ve been enjoying the book up until this point, where Feyre delivers a speech to a court of high lords like a coming of age movie protagonist from 2015. Screaming and cringing.

“His growls of pleasure filled the tent, drowning out the distant cries of the injured and dying.”

ok that’s enough reading for one day
