When you dislike the obvious love interest (forgive the social worker in me, but I don't like bully/victim romance. I was just driving and used the credit on first suggested audiobook after finishing the last one), but then he says, in a deep, angry growl, "Who did this to you?" and your heart melts against your will. 🙃😅

This poem. 💕 My cousin read it when she was flipping through the book when I first got it, and it was the first reason she liked my boyfriend (who gave me the book, although we weren't dating yet). This poem is everything.

The poem on this page almost made me cry because of how much I could identify with it. I'm glad I had the courage to step forward, and my life is so much better for it.
