Beautifully written, it’s as if I can feel the pain and the grieve from each character narrating each chapter. A bit overwhelming with the a mount of names and characters! Haha

Definitely a new genre I’m exploring to read, an interesting one!

Really liking it so far! Unlike TBOSAS, which almost depicted Snow with glimpses of softness, this book highlights his atrocity and cruelty. It definitely feels raw, sharp, and much closer in tone to the original trilogy.

Finished Chapter 1, definitely a good thrilling start! Heard a lot of good reviews of this book so I have a quite high expectation.

Finished Chapter 1. Babel meets Yellowface, Fantasy meets Dark Academia with a twist of romance. Early thought: I’m obsessed!

Started off strong – definitely unlike any of R. F. Kuang’s previous books! Planning to read this one slowly since it dives deep into Greek mythology and introduces a lot of new terms. Excited to take my time with it and will keep updating my thoughts as I go!
