On one hand, highly informative; but also a bit of a slog. For my taste, too much a mix of fact/history and opinion. The discussion of how evil Man has been over time - esp in the US - tells its own story. Not a dull read, but could be tightened up. I'll make it to the end, then get back to These Truths - also dense, but mostly just facts and historical perspectives (rather than personal commentary.)
