Holy Hunger Games wannabe. Not only are the Trials in a forest just like the 74th Hunger Games, Paedyn just happens to be skilled with a bow and arrow. Why? Did she also hunt to keep her family alive back in Loot? No she did not. It would be okay if she was mid with her weapon but nope! She’s a perfect shot, and shoots a rabbit through the eye just like Katniss 😭 How is this even allowed…

Why the hell does Paedyn judge Kitt just because he looks like his murderous father, while having no qualms with Kai actually BEING the murderous son? That’s genuinely so stupid 😭

I fear this may be a copy of every romantasy and dystopia book before it but I will try to get through more of Paedyn and Kai holding each other at knifepoint :’)
