So far I've tried two recipes and both have been great!

Cookies: 9/10 - great brown-butter cookies, but I have another recipe that I prefer.

Poppyseed muffins: 9/10 - comforting and not too sweet! A tad bit dry, so my suggestion would be to perhaps have a lemon glaze on top!

While I'm waiting for the third book of the PJO series I'll continue my alphabet challenge with this book which has been on my TBR for years!

Had to return this to the library, so I'll continue it another time

Just the thought of continuing reading this is giving me HEAVY anxiety

One of StoryGraphs “Onboarding Challenge 2026” categories is to read a book that one of my mutuals on either Goodreads/StoryGraph has rated 4 stars. This book has been on my TBR for a long time because of the immense hype it gets - which is also why I’ve avoided it. I’m expecting to be disappointed (as I usually stay away from YA), but hopefully I’ll be proven wrong.

I've stopped caring about the story, but I feel like I've come too far to DNF

This book really doesn't need to be this long...

"Leo's eyes - dark, remote, and Chinese - suddenly cleared." (p. 693). How many times does King need to write that the kid has Chinese eyes? It's getting ridiculous lol

“She was short, pretty in a vague Sandra Dee sort of way, and her breasts pointed at him perkily without a sign of a sag… [---] Her breasts jiggled fetchingly…” 😐 (p. 86)

Am I only reading one chapter of this? Yes. Will I still add it to my read books bookshelf? Also yes.

Man this book is so long, I'm feeling intimidated 😭😭

I'm really in the mood for some fantasy, so I grabbed a random book from the fantasy shelf at my local library. It'll be fun to go into this completely blind! Hopefully I don't feel disappointed :)

I'm currently reading a book that's not on Goodreads. It's called "Det första levnadsårets psykologi" by author Anne-Marit Duve. It's about the first year of life and the baby's psychological functions. 152 pages.
