I don't understand the need to give the Japanese for "Moon Prince" and "Shadow Ball" first? Or why "uncle" and "aunt" is left in Japanese, but "father" and "mother" isn't? Even though how a person refers to their parents varies more and tells you more about them, then how they refer to their aunt/uncle?

The cover and the description had me convinced this was going to be a light romp in the fairy tale woods. This is turning out to be pretty dark and sinister.
