Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to ARC read this book! I was very excited to read another Vi Keeland book. I enjoyed this one and the overall message about learning to slow down and face past experiences and fears. I didn’t really feel like I became overly emotionally invested in the characters. The continuous use of “da” and “dat” irked me. The book was fairly slow for me and picked up after 60%.
