yall I am STRUGGLING! I think the beginning of this book is supposed to be hard to read, that’s the point, but dear god I feel like I’m reading my adhd ramblings.

is this supposed to be the opposite of the community in the giver? very intrigued

isn’t it super funny that the book bella (hey girl) recommended me to read 4 years ago that has just been sitting in my Apple Books library since she sent me the epub suddenly became a worldwide phenomenon from its tv show? because I think it’s so funny

why do authors keep using the incest plot as a way to get out of actual plot and character building?

this one is significantly better than the other two so I lowkey forget I’m listening to this trashy series but then I hear something so bad and cringy and I’m knocked right back into my body again and remember that I’m just torturing myself

I’ll admit, I saw one zoyakolai edit and remembered that I NEEDED to read this.

the most frustrating part about this one is the WASTED POTENTIAL! sometimes there’s lovely prose and sometimes it tries too hard to be lovely so it comes across as eyeroll-worthy! each chapter is the same issue and conversation over and over again!

I regret to inform my fellow readers that I have begun audiobooking in the car again. I must find out how this dumpster fire ends.

every time I reach a plot point that I thought the book would end on, that’s not where it ends. genuinely no clue how this is gonna end and I’m getting more scared the more I read.

the more I read this book the more scared I get and tbh I’m starting to see why!

not to be dramatic but I haven’t been this upset since I read that the capitol had kidnapped peeta (iykyk)

rin’s heart dropping every time nezha is mentioned oh im sick

I tried to stay away from this series to give my heart a moment to breathe but I literally had a dream about rin and nezha and kitay so now I must wander down the road of pain that will be reading this book

updating simply because the nonbinary rep is AMAZING and they have now entered places that I’ve been to in Italy so I’m about to be unbearable

three thoughts:
1. this is the most queer book I’ve ever read (in the BEST way)
2. it’s making me miss my ex

god I wish I had gotten the fun and sexy gay gene that theo and kit got instead of the anxious loser gay gene I currently possess

instead of spending my summer in england again, I am instead reading about a summer in england. sigh.
