The premise is sad but the realistic view on how the Eve navigates her new normal with caring friends and family near by.

Grabbed this book for Hispanic Heritage Month last year from BOTM and just now getting to it. I really like the Luna Sisters and how each of them are strong in their own way. Mexican heiress Ana Luna is supposed to be laying low but she has caught the eye of Mr Fox, this gentlemanly brother who has to choice between his distinguished position in society or the smart but infectious girl. Just realized its a series!

Oh my gosh!! Chapter 17. Page 330 and I know sleep is needed but can not stop!!! Leigh just shared why she is so guarded and jaded. Let's just say, oh my gosh! I've never reacted so much out loud. This book is so so good. Im so glad that I decided to read it slow, annotate and take it in. The nuggets on anger, grief, finding joy and choosing life. Gosh!

Picked up this quick read because its popular, its on my shelf and I've skipped it every time. After 70% in and still have no clue of what's going on -- I see why it has sat on my shelves.

Chapter 40 and the tides have turned. I lowkey wonder if this could have happened in the well know, real life, age gap relationship between the 2 musically talented folks we all loved back in the 90s?!! There aint no way I would choose music as a career. Double life experiences is scary!!

Jordan got me in a choke hold with this plot! I have to finish this book tonight. Eve has a good thing going but her fear is stealing her joy. Shoot, give me a nice cowboy from Gaithersburg that loves the simple and complex ways of mine. Jamie aint taking no mess from her either. Loving this!

I don't know how I forgot that I enjoyed reading books by Katherine Center. She writes such amazing stories of love longing to reach each other no matter the circumstance. This story of a strong firefighter shero being slowly bulldozed by a simple nice guy willing to love her... sign me up! I cant wait to see how this thing will end because I'm vested.

Tandem reading this title. Didn't know the plot but omgosh I cant imagine a close school age friendship being blown up due to an idiot move by one of spouses. Thats tough. Let's keep reading.
