I bought this book after getting locked out of work because the owners changed the locks,, this book so far is truly beautiful and has been keeping me great company

I would have loved to have shared a bottle of wine with this queen

Finally reading this,, I bought it 5/6 years ago😁😁 this book is what I think I sound like when I'm telling a story? Continually jumping stories and trail of thought but considering her life was so adventurous it makes sense? Need to shake up my life like Mary did

I just read the Matchbox story to my boyfriend over FaceTime and we both feel sick,, 10/10

Currently in the middle of Good Guy,, I'm really enjoying these stories and women being gross and disgusting

I'm rereading some of my older books,, I just read the first short story in this collection,, Good Boy ~ I really forgot how gruesome this book is😁

This book is actually very slow to get through,, I've been sat thinking I've read like 50 pages and it's only been 20

We're getting,, somewhere?

I've been in a small reading slump,, when I pick up this book I do feel so surrounded by the story telling,, but my brain has been finding reading a challenge these last few weeks

Hammad is a beautiful story teller,, I'm feeling very connected to Sonia as she moves between past and present,, connecting lots of dots.

I'm listening to Ana Roxanne's album ~~~ as I'm reading and it's creating a whole atmosphere.
