I’m so confused why is there chimeras

So far it’s only okay…. Stories are a little forgettable after reading them and a lot deal with similar topics I’m forgetting what happened where. Most enjoyable and memorable have been the ones focused on women so far. Also I’m not getting big medieval vibes and the horror aspect is only really truly revealed at the end in most cases and is not suspended throughout the stories.

I really hope by tracking my reading progress it’ll force me to keep practising

Okay okay okay so far this book has a witch, a library (bonus points for being in Oxford), a risky intimacy with a vampire with whom she is fighting with over a manuscript. You’ve intrigued me so far … don’t let me down 👀
