How many times can two characters have a misunderstanding that keeps them apart? 🙄 enough already

If this wasn’t the book club pick for the month I would have already DNF it. The writing style is very clinical/ matter fact and the storytelling is stilted at best.

I was looking for a series that immediately sucks you in that I could devour and so far this rec from Reddit has not disappointed. I haven’t come across an author or series like this in a long time and am so happy to have discovered this gem and starting my year off on the right foot *ba dum tiss*

Why am I reading this? It’s the same setup as the other 2 books and the writing is somehow worse?

Really with this storyline? And what happened to the writing 🙄

Having mixed feelings with this book and the storyline.

I thought the second book would be better…it’s not.
