I think elspeth’s intro and the stuff with that freaky goddess who’s into humans was my fav arc so far. I find Peter and Alice’s relationship much more compelling now than I did before 👍

I’m kinda struggling to get into the book, mainly because I’m feeling a lot of tell and not show in this book. I like the main characters and their stories but the more Alice talks about Peter the harder I find to view him favourable. But at the same time his actual actions feel in large contrast to what she says about home which is interesting since she’s obv an unreliable narrator

Okay so the writing IS better but def still a lil juvenile for my tastes. It is however appropriate I think for the age range this book targets. I wish the emotions were done better in this book as a whole. I feel like the plot is moving forward fs but there’s a lot of missing context about the characters’ motivations and personalities but still like the plot enough to continue reading

Mikhael is so annoying
