Interesting and readable so far. Funny that this recent chapter commended Christianity for preserving Roman literature, when I've so recently read something arguing the opposite. Whiplash lol. This book is deffo more balanced and better researched though.

Amazing, just amazing

This author is clearly a lover of the 'It is a story of_' structure. Not sure how well edited this book is, but the content is interesting enough.

Fascinating and accessible

Wonderful book, very informative and accessible! I'm devouring it, which is surprising given the daunting subject matter.
