Jeanie made it to London! I’m still wondering how Scott managed to get such a long novel out of such concise source material, but he keeps spinning it out.

Jeanie has finally left Scotland! It’s amazing how Scot can spin a very long yarn out of what was a very short story in the introduction.

Over half way! This is syncing up quite well with Age of Revolution.

Since praying for Ukraine as I read this novel for AP English.

I’m reading so many books that I forgot to add this one. Term 1 done! The War of Spanish Succession is finally over. I’m frustrated because after reading about the English Civil War, I began seeing connections everywhere, but I’ve yet to make a single in the wild connection with what I read in this very long section.

I’m beginning to gain momentum and might want to pick up the pace but slow and steady generally pays off with long novels.
