Unsure how to feel about this so far

I am obsessed lmao

I don’t know what the author put in this but I am eating it up

Me again, I had to re-read the blurb and I can say none of it has happened yet and I am almost halfway

So far this feels quite a bit like nothing? The conversations about China and Taiwan and the feeling of not belonging in a country your family is from is extremely interesting, I find myself highlighting those passages more. But the characters themselves fall flat as they do nothing to push the story along, they just go to their classes and eat food.

I don’t quite understand the hype so far

Found this at my library, so I’m intrigued!

For a book that is meant to be about all the tenants, we really don’t see half of them

I’m reading this yet I’m not invested in the slightest, so it feels a lot slower than I’d like

The infodumps are strong

The transphobia has given me the biggest ick

I ragequit deltarune so i am making myself read to chill lmao

I have to say, the introduction takes up a majority of this book and it is a slog. I will try read more but it is 150 pages compared to the 40 that is the manifesto itself

I have so many thoughts and none of them good.

This book is a bit frustrating to read, there is not a single full stop to show the stream or consciousness which works well, but the story itself is boring and the main character is frustrating too.

Even this far it is quite slow, I wish more was happening
