srsly brandy I question a lot of things, but the gal to have a character go so distastful is ALMOST as ridiculous as trying to make her crush believable. UVE HAD 5 CONVERSATIONS VIN, GROW UP.

How is it that you jsut explained that NOT showing up to an execution would be death, then proceed to question why they're showing up and saying that it is either morbid curiosity, because they wouldn't have to work or because they were required.

I'm getting increasingly annoyed at my own disinterest in this book.
Everyone praises this so much, and while i was warned about the simplistic prose brandy uses and this isn't even the issue i have with it, I am failing to see the part where people love this.

I am bored. Somehow the action scenes are the worst parts. I'm feeling as if brandy expects the readers to not remember a single thing they have read...
