I am noticing a pattern here, like, some of the different characters in this book have aspects of martyr-ship. I love Orkideh, she's a real one, if I was Cyrus and I met her, I would have a full on deep look at my life and realization that people can have such an impact on you and your life, and that that is what matters. It doesn't have to be legendary to matter.

I have officially been successfully satisfied, it has definitely improved, the first half was so slow for me but now its getting to the good stuff and im loving it

A story about vampires is always a great read, especially lesbian vampires. Its been alright so far id give it a 6/10 as of right now, nothing that has blown my mind or anything, im still waiting for that groundbreaking moment/scene that'll bring the 6/10 up to atleast an 8/10 but we shall see.

I cant do it guys, i can't finish this book. If i do, what am i supposed to do with myself. Im going to enter a dark abyss of nothingness, im going to feel empty inside. Im going to be missing the shock and absolute addiction that I have felt reading this book. I procrastinated on reading the last section of this book because of these reasons, and now that im like 10 seconds away from being done, its way too soon :((

Oh god, bro is just like me fr. I’m almost done with this book and (1) I can’t believe what I have read and how close I’ve gotten to these characters to the point of knowing what actions they’d do and who would do what (2) what else can possibly happen in the next 50 pages

Shits getting intense

Ughhh with each page I read it just keeps getting more intense, better with every single sentence, paragraph, page and chapter. There’s not a single period, comma or word that doesn’t ultimately serve for some overall purpose. Every word is incredibly thought out and planned, and it’s just insanely good and I’m not even half way through it

I want to rip the pages up and devour them in one, now I see what everyone’s been talking about. Donna Tart, you slightly sadistic genius, you’re driving me insane just like your characters.
