I'm quite content making my way through this series. Though the books all share a slow start, they become impossible to put down as pages go by; they're shameless sleep stealers! Despite being skilled spies, the characters are easy to connect with; I'm taking notes on this characterisation.

The style was off putting at first, but... Oh, Seregil and Alec~! I only managed to put it down once my eyes began to stop focusing.

I was hoping to start this sooner, but things got in the way. Since the focus isn't the romance, I've got high hopes.

I can't decide if I'd really consider this book light-hearted, but it is a pleasure to read.

In my mind, Grimshaw has long hair and Strange looks like John Snow. Nobody will convince me otherwise. This book has some tongue-twister moments, but it's good and I'm willing to swallow those for the rest of it.

It was difficult to choose between the two books I have, but this looks slightly more light-hearted, and I need a good laugh after Mongrel.

Heteronormativity and YA - another fine example.

Plot is happening! And it's predictable plot! Susannah, you are thick.

The protagonist is selfish and stupid. The narrator keeps derailing the subject to tell us stuff she probably should have shown. Why?

I took this from my sister's bookcase last night because I was desperate for a fiction book. To put it simply, it's a pile of crap. I tried reading this when I was twelve, and found it equally as poor. "Suze" is shallow, unsympathetic, and has just burst into a speech that completely contradicts what she just finished telling another character, and everyone else is a basic stereotype, existing purely as a role.

My uncle leant me this book. The poems are very... Accurate, I guess. They're much better than the Western love poems I've read. Think this will end up being a small favourite.

Hm... Starting to see how I can use this information to my advantage. I should probably have finished this by now, though...

Apparently this is the favourite philosopher of one of my teachers... That would be cool, if I didn't dislike said teacher. Anyway, I've done more talking about this book than reading it... Hopefully that will change soon but, in the meantime, it's fun to explain to my friends.

Skipped the sections on what this book means to people and headed straight to the introduction. It's a little history lesson... Rather handy. I can't devote much time to this book at the moment, but I'm looking forward to reading it.

Meh... A happy lady should perhaps read happy things, and a tired lady should not attempt to interpret the abstract.

Valentine's Day, Valentine's Day... Maybe I should read a pretty romance before Valentine's Day. Maybe "Jewels of the Sun"?

For the past few days, I've actually been re-reading "Wicked Gentlemen"... I've actually absorbed the bits I missed last time, so now it's just that much cooler... Of course, I could study and do something fulfilling with my life, but...

I don't always understand what she's saying, but it doesn't feel nice. It gets chilly at the end of every poem...

In the mood for poetry, so...

Decided to just go ahead and buy this, since other books would take time to arrive as I would want to have them in paper copy... Not that I don't want to read this; I've heard it's excellent.

Do I try again, or give up? There are archived items here, but... So unappealing.

Can't be this far through already... It's too good to be this short!
