el principio se me hizo poco interesante pero ESTA PARTE
esta parte me fascina (la de los niños)

suddenly the previously-judged-as-nice characters seem despicable, oopsie

the prose of this woman is poetic, it’s music, it’s soft yet punching
oh and the voice of the narrator
OH DO I LOVE IT DO I LOVE THAT VOICE

lydia is the girl at the festival who disappears for five days and then contacts her friends telling them she was at a week-long rave party. same vibes.

the drama… THE AMOUNT OF DRAMA

so far it’s a little slow paced sometimes (or too focused on descriptive details) but generally i’m enjoying the writing and the perspectives the writer chooses to portray as circe is immortal so she gets to experience LOTS of stuff (trauma & just life)
the only thing is circe could be more twisted/complex/ambiguous/less basic, like to me it really doesn’t make sense that she’s so “good” (?)

this book is TOPS

la historia bajo el nombre de “fantasmas” es increíble. es el metamisterio mismo, es preguntarse qué significa vivir y qué fijaciones intelectuales y a veces poco humanas creemos que dan sentido a nuestra vida cuando en realidad nos alejan de experimentarla.

es un gusto la escritura de CJC

this man was fun but the second part I’m not enjoying that much
