Honestly the prologue was great. It’s definitely from its time (2012 i think) but its definitely promising 😛

this book is such a hard read. not like in difficult language way but in a “idk if i have enough will to finish this” kind of way..

I think I’m annoyed with the writing style already. Or I just don’t like Ama.

Why do we even have Audre’s pov. Also wtf is this scene. It adds nothing to the plot, and it was honestly inappropriate and unrealistic (esp with the constant attempts to make the book feel contemporary). I’m annoyed.
