I do think I'll enjoy this one, but thus far the tone is kind of reminding me of that "Wouldst Thou Like To Live Deliciously" line from VVitch.

It’s really a testament to Grady Hendrix’s writing how much he can make these two characters talking about ghosts seem like absolute idiots in a book that inevitably ends up being about spooky ghosts

I like how this book reimagines the greater Boston area as some kind of puppet arts paradise lol

The fact that this audiobook is created to sound like a podcast feels very promising to me.

I saw another reviewer say something along the lines of “fear is reading a book written by someone you realize was on tumblr at the same time you were,” and man if that doesn’t describe this

I am enjoying this, but the audiobook reader for Arthur’s portion of the book needs to be stopped, this is so goofy.
