Amazing book to listen to as an audiobook. The rich description of scent is much more profound and it feels like someone is telling you a fairytale.

I have just started this book :) It is good so far- I quite like reading books about normal everyday life with a looming presence of death in the background it seems😭 I don’t know what this says about me? 😂

Ugh too much fighting and description! Needs more yearning is all I will say x

Tis a bit spicy isn’t it 😭

Making my way through:)

Forget I get bored when the plot starts moving towards war and not romance. Do not fear tho I will persevere x

Can’t handle the flirting😭 I feel awkward haha

On a mad one and fancied reading about dragons. I needed to liven up my visit to Grandma and grandad’s house with some dragon riding. Wish dragons we real 🐉

Am I reading this so that I can tell people I read Kafka? Yes I am! I was not expecting this book to bring up uncomfortable emotions. Specifically, a phobia from childhood is back (my goodness 😲)! I’m concerned if I accidentally swallow a fly or wasp I will turn into a bug. It also concerns me that Gregor is not worried about waking up as a bug- that calls for a panic attack in my opinion!

Just started :)

Had a cheeky little read in the garden didnt I luv

I’m enjoying this so far! Not much to say other than that :)

Still incredibly boring but I am over halfway now😭! It’s making a bit more sense now x

Still a bit confused but I think it is because I have a bad grasp on history. I reckon someone who was really into JFK and 60s American history would love this book. Not as good as “white noise” and “falling man” yet.

This is a very intellectual book I fear I am not clever enough to understand but I am persevering☝️ wish me luck

Good so far! I had taken a break from it because I wanted to read my book about a polish lady obsessed with astrology/murdering people in her village haha. I was surprised how easy it was to pick up again which is good! X
