Steinbeck's prose is really unique. This one is just starting to draw me in now.

Still just hasn't quite grasped me. It's not a long book so I'm going to crunch through to the end. Skipping the rest of the reddit post style chapters though. I see what the author is going for but it's just not landing for me. Likely 2* read

Not quite what I've expected so far, but it's decent. Bit of a sense of foreboding, but I need some plot action soon!

I like the switch between identifying an issue in Canada then identifying a proven solution used elsewhere. Makes our government look like a bunch of idiots though!
