The book is really great so far. But the author has used the word “ameliorate” twice now. That’s the kind of word you only get to use once per book or it will annoy me. lol

This is one of the stupidest books I’ve read in a while. There’s nowhere near enough dialogue to build out the characters; everything this protagonist thinks is immature and silly and goes in circles. The plot is trying hard to be interesting but it’s not. This is As bad as any Hollywood sequel. Should have stopped after the first one.
