I feel a 3-star rating coming on… time will tell

Getting a bit bored and can’t imagine why there’s stilllll 63% left, but going to power on! Pushing towards 50%, at minimum, before I decide if this is a snoozefest

This one is starting a little slow, too, but not so damn melancholy! This is a better fit for my current reading mood.

I’ll finish Winter Garden… well… sometime!

I’m bored to tears.

This is my first Kristina Hannah, but I’d read somewhere that her typical formula involves a slow burn to introduce characters and get the reader invested and then, 💥BOOM💥, “the event” happens that tugs at heartstrings.

My fault, as I knew it would open slowly; however, this is not the vibes I’m seeking right now.

Shelving this one for a bit until I’m feeling moodier.
