Very intriguing story. It’s holding my interest so that’s good. 🤪

Not sure about this yet. The dialog is a bit juvenile but I’ll give it a little longer.

This whole story line is as if the author couldn’t think of anything better.

I hope I make it through this book. It’s very juvenile in its writing and the first chapter has some real unrealistic responses from Logan. I picked this up because I needed a quick read. So far it has no depth and I’m used to reading books with depth. Ugh. On to chapter 2.

I thought the reviews were exaggerated but honestly the best thing about this book are the short chapters. It’s poorly written and the characters are just weird and boring. If I didn’t see Patterson’s name on the book I would never think he had a hand in writing it. I want to finish it because I started it but I’m on a struggle bus.

It’s easy to see why some people rate this book so low. I had high hopes but there is so much babbling and unnecessary commentary. The characters get on my nerves. At least make one person lovable. I saw a spoiler (the secret) and pretty much the only reason I want to finish it is to see how it ends. I hope that’s not a disappointment.
