Another theory: the man who may be impersonating her father may be planning to hurt her and maybe the letters that her father is sending are trying to warn her but she won’t read them and she’s going to get closer to this man and at some point realize that her father was trying to protect her from this man but she found out too soon but luckily like father like daughter and she’ll be able to save her life.
