Omegaverse stories often strongly rely on coercion of omegas. This one is different. Both characters are Alphas and the stress of having to be in charge is ruining intimacy for the MC (necessary in their reality). It’s interesting to watch him learn to find joy in submitting and enjoy letting go within a society so strongly designed to pressure him into a position of dominance. I think a lot of people will relate.
