The only thing I hate about this is that Mary is out of character because she has a random aunt that lets her stay at the house so she's basically got a bit of money and socializing, when I think she'd be a spinster at her parents house more likely and then married for convenience like Charlotte did in P&P. Charlotte and Mary being queer together tracks, though.

This one is extra dumb with the logic lol.

I get that there aren't that many characters, but Kitty would probably not be the queer Bennet sister if I had to pick one based on P&P (looking at you, Mary).

I can't tell if this is actually a good book or just unique? Lol. But I'm hooked.

Lol. First Daughter gets sent to a farm town after paparazzi catch her ordering a pizza at a state dinner. Which. Tbf, this boy is about to ruin her life. She's glad her mom is already in office.

This feels like it's not the first one in the series because it drops you in after she's already met the prince and is about to go on her first date with him.

I don't think I like that it jumps back to when they were all meeting after it's clear half of them are probably about to die. It just makes me not bond with the characters.

I wish they would say when it's in a series. I guess it's a standalone interconnected series. And I did read the first one first, for once. But it would be helpful if Goodreads put them as a series.

I put this on hold back in May when Libby got it. But it feels different listening to her voice two weeks after her death.

Literal chosen one. Lol. They have goddess trials where they go to an island and their goddess gives them a medal that tells them their vocation. Or they get a gold one which means unblessed, which is super rare. Instead, this girl gets nothing, doesn't meet the goddess, and has instead what she realizes is a magical dog.

Bahaha. Okay. Two of them secretly do Daphne and Fred, while the other three make a big deal about they're "three peas in a pod."

"There aren't any good five people costumes." Um. Are we forgetting Scooby Doo gang? Okay.

The 9th Doctor was a tiny bit memorable, but the 10th was very clearly Tennet impersonation. (I don't think he's narrating).

At least this girl knew she was adopted. Lol. But my favorite stories are when their science class spills the beans on accident.

Unless it's going to come out that she killed her sister, she's not done any real lying. Evading the story of how her sister died at a grief camp for teens? Yes. Lying about anything? Nooo?
