there’s nothing I want more than the action and emotion of the first five or so books. it’s like the last three are written by someone else. they just don’t compare and they can’t keep my interest.

It was a bit slow to start and all the characters can be a bit hard to keep track of but it’s very well written and an excellent storyline so far

This is a different narrator and I really hate it.

I absolutely hate Calla Fletcher. A rock possesses more intelligence, tact, and practically.

I like that the author is including more of the behind the scenes politics/wheeling and dealing in addition to the action. Hopefully will make up for how fast paced this is. While I don’t agree with his obvious political lean, it’s quite accurate that the democratic president has horrible a geopolitical policy that leads to threats on the US soil.
