Yeah….Um.. this book is all surface level. Before we get into anything good it immediately jumps into sex with 1 of the 3 characters. I’m getting bored

Compared to the first book this one is taking me awhile to really get into it. Appreciate all the spicy scenes but feel like I need more story. Also! For books in general please bring back summaries at the beginning of your books to go over what happened in the book prior.

Absolutely loving it!

It’s an easy read so far. Not have to think much when reading it. Nothing ground breaking but a cute story so far.

Re reading, let’s see if it holds up over time

Erm, the book isn’t bad! I still love it but I have to say after seeing the movie 100 times. The movie in my opinion is better than this book. Yes, the book has lots of detail but I love the way the movie flows and even though it doesn’t have lots of detail. The story of itself (more specifically Tris & Tobias) in the movies just make more sense. The dialogue between the two so far in the book is odd.

Giving me all the same feels as the first time I read it.
So weird to have re read a book but this time I’ve seen the movie. So all the scenes that are in the movie I’m picturing when I read the book.

Underwhelming..

I read this book when I was sooo young and It’s my comfort movie ( on Netflix now FINALLY! ) so I think its time I pick up the book and read it again. Let’s see if it holds up.

Struggling to get through this

Story for far has been predictable, but the author is good at keeping me guessing in terms of, is it actually true or is something going to change.
So have to give her props for that

So far the story is intriguing. Lots of back and forth between the past and present, which is fine but takes me a second to adjust and understand when it shifts. That’s my only issue so far.

Took me awhile but I’m now fully invested in these characters and have fallen in love with them. Really don’t want this book to end.

Starting to become a pattern with Colleen’s writing where strangers meet and instantly fall in love … or have some major feelings for each other. It’s annoying.
Saying that, this book so far is better then “It Ends With Us”
